X-ray Blackjack

Make your image match the IDEAL as closely as you can, using as little dose as possible.
1Both teams start from the same grainy image. The ideal image stays on screen. The start is different every game.
2Each turn your team plays one multiplier card. It multiplies the exposure of your last scan, so cards chain: new image, more dose. Both teams see every image.
3Turn order: the first team plays once, the other team then plays twice in a row (its trade for going second), then they alternate: L R R L R L R L (4 scans each).
4No copying: you cannot play the card your opponent just played (your 2nd turn in a row is free). Say STAND when close enough; the other team keeps playing, so standing early gains nothing.
5Your last image is your submission, not your best one.
6Clocks: 30 s per turn and 3:00 for the whole game. If your turn clock runs out, your team STANDS at once. When the game clock ends, both teams STAND.

Scoring

Score = Quality × 2 − Dose
Quality stays hidden until the end: judge it with your eyes. Higher score wins.

Cards chain on your last scan

×⅙×¼×⅓×½×1.5×2×3×4×6
start1
play ×6= 6 × start
then ×1.5= 9 × start

Dose bar

Relative, no numbers. Green → amber → red. A stronger multiplier adds more dose. When it is full, your team STANDS at once; the other team keeps playing.
